The DSD Competitive Team holds open auditions each summer. The team commitment begins in July and ends the next June, after our studio recital.
- Team members are required to take, at minimum, the Classic Combo Class along with the Competitive Class.
- Members are required to attend, at minimum, 3 camps: Conditioning, Choreography, & Intensive Camps.
- We attend an average of 4-5 competitions each season.
- Dancers are responsible for entry fees, tuition, travel expenses, costumes, team apparel, and accessories.
- We believe in the art of fundraising and encourage team members to take advantage of those opportunities!
We take honor in how we have designed our competitive team experience. Hard work and our family environment enables dancers to gain the skills of teamwork, trust, dedication, performance, and accountability. These skills shape dancers into not only strong performers, but strong leaders in our community.
